>>Can Ford start up business in Antarctica in the blink of an eye?<<

Good point Thomas. However, this is a double edged sword you speak of. The fact that Yahoo can open up shop anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye means that their current and would be competitors can do the same. On the otherhand, does not any potential Ford competitor have huge barriers of entry to the auto business here or anywhere else in the world? It will be much easier for anybody to compete against Yahoo than it would be for anybody to compete against Ford. That assumes of course that Yahoo can prove they are worthy of competing against. They still do not make any real money to speak of do they? $0.21 per quarter per share for a $300+ stock? Right! And a good portion of that money comes from one of their largest shareholders, Softbank.
