Ralph -- I don't know why Perfumania isn't making money -- expenses higher than income would be my guess.

Your comment was about the quality of perfume in the stores -- my response is that they have quality brands in the Perfumania stores. Most people know what perfume to buy -- and the savings are considerable. My favorite 3.3oz perfume sells for $60 in Macy's department store -- exact same thing in Perfumania is $36. This is not my opinion -- this is my experience. By the way, I just checked the ALU site - The Fragrance Counter - and my brand is $75 -- this is $15 higher than Macy's and $39 more than Perfumania (last time I checked the counter at Christmas, it was 10% less than Macy's).
JMO Perfumania is going to kick butt on the web!!
