Gvander, it's interesting that the Taiwanese are building a li ion factory. Since they plan to sell the product at 10% under the competition, one could assume that some sort of advanced manufacturing techniques are involved; perhaps robotics.

The thin film lead acid battery is intriguing. Definitely an advance in state of the art.
