If Jed Clampett discovered oil (texas tea) in his backyard today, I doubt he could move next door, let alone to Beverly Hills :)

At $12.00 a barrel the profit just isn't there. Many wholly operational wells simply aren't operating right now because of the low per barrel price. That would put the short to mid term prospects of any profits in question. Given the companies past record and current share value it seems to put a "red flag" up.

I may just be a bit "gun shy" having invested in MTEI (Mountain Energy Corp) which rose from the ashes in a similar fashion as this stock. Touting large reserves and big money. After an initial run up, they collapsed totally, stinging me for over 6K. The company folded and all that's left of it are the on-going SEC investigations.

It seems a real "risk" when the market can't support the current operational wells at much of a profit.
