Sasa... I can't answer your question, as I don't know much about shorting stocks. But I DO know how certain people on these boards operate and it's simply incredulous. Not the shorting itself, as that is a perfectly legitimate avenue of trading. But the way they will swoop down on a thread like a flock of vultures, with a well planned scheme of spreading misinformation, inuendos, and outright lies, all the while veiling it as though they are doing us newer traders a favor! When their main objective is to scare everyone out so the price will drop and they clean up. Still amazes me that they manage to accomplish it sometimes! And you tell yourself that it's better just to ignore their posts than get involved in the fracas. But then other people in the stock see no response to their false information, and assume they are right, so they bail. So you feel that you have to try answering them with rational posts. But they don't play rational! ; - D Helluva deal. Just part of the trading game I guess. Snerd
