<<<conference in las vegas (tech or internet, not sure) and said many people were talking about what axc just bought (tv onthe web) as being cutting edge and the future of the internet. >>>

Thank you very much for this extremely important piece of information. While your personal post is certainly not a "stock tip", it does point to the collective insight of those who are knowledgeable of "in what you know". Invest in what you know is a theme which one sees repeatedly in the investment literature. In fact, for many people, it is hard to accept that the best speculators in wheat and soybeans are not high tech in and out traders but down on the farm, farmers. They have the best and deepest understanding of the fundamentals of market demand, weather and soil conditions and credit availability.

At this juncture of AXC, stock market fundamentals have little meaning - the Ampex company is turning about. TA has somewhat more relevancy, but if applied too strictly, will give you "fear of heights." So we are left with estimates of market demand for products and services expected to be offered and with "guesstimates" of investor / trader reactions to these evolving developments. Here, there is no substitute for insight by those who are in a position to know.

Again thanks,

Ed Perry
