Bozell Challenges National Media to Cover
"Earthshaking" News that Favors Pro-Lifers
"The Temptation Will Be To Spike This Story And Use
Impeachment As A Crutch Because This Poll Explodes
The Media Myth That Women Are Pro-Abortion"

ALEXANDRIA, Va. --- Media Research Center Chairman Brent Bozell is challenging the national establishment media to fully air and report the findings of a landmark national survey of American women. The findings reveal that a majority of American women - 53 percent - now support the Pro-Life position on abortion. Most notably, the survey was paid for by the Center for Gender Equality, headed by former Planned Parenthood Executive Director Faye Wattleton.

"The temptation for the media will be to spike this earthshaking story and use impeachment as a crutch because this poll absolutely explodes the media's 'conventional wisdom' myth that American women are pro-abortion.

They are not, they are Pro-Life, and even Ms. Wattleton's own poll shows that," Bozell said.

"It's obvious why the Center for Gender Equality waited until now to make these findings public. According to the Associated Press, the poll was done last year and it's almost February. Ms. Wattleton told the Washington Times that her survey's findings were - quote - 'very disturbing.' She and her organization released these findings yesterday in hopes that the impeachment story will overshadow them. I challenge the media to give this story the full and far reaching coverage it deserves," Bozell said.
