I have witnessed through a friend's work the mess that many firms' workflow and internal document management is. This friend worked with a major telecom company and they had some crazy old network with all sorts of online help files which had to be programmed by my friend.

Many firms will be looking for something cleaner, more sophisticated, and something which uses a 'standard' & 'more familiar' (eg.) Netscape interface. Many observers say Open Text's solution is right up there.

I really do think there is a long way to go before a lot of these companies figure out how much such a system can help them (unfortunately it will probably mean layoffs for the five or six people who are paid to pull their hair out and work extra hours fixing the 'current way of doing things'). Governments would also be prime targets but then again they tend to be content with 'the old way'.
