Texas PC Maker Lauded

(AUSTIN) -- The fastest growing maker of personal computers is Round Rock-based Dell. International Data Corporation says Dell shipments rose 56 percent in the fourth quarter... giving the company almost eight and a half percent of the world market. The growth rate was the fastest among the world's largest PC makers. Dell's stock leaped on the news to a record high of just over 100 dollars a share, but over 50-percent in three months.
