G'day Ed - I don't think so. The Bid/Ask was the last set of quotes as the market closed on Friday. After that, there can be trades happening on systems like Instinet. Whether or not there are afterhour trading, by Monday, everything got reset before the open depending on market conditions in general and the demand of the co stock in particular, in this case, IBI. This is irrespective of whether IBI is on NYSE or NASDAQ. If life were so easy, then I wouldn't be staying in the poor house for this long <G>.

No matter what you do, it is extremely dangerous to place a market order [buy or sell] before the market opens. There is no telling what may happen. So, even if you want to buy IBI at the open anyway, set a limit. Beyond that, depending on your order size etc, your order may or may not get filled.

hope this help

best, Bosco
