Helene, Thank you for your spellchecking and my sincere apologies to this thread for my transgression... disengenuousness_alert() As to the actual point of my post, I think you over-interpreted what I said - it seemed to me that the politeness was feigned and the real intent was to say "don't defend yourself". I have made no general point about your colleague. Maybe I'm making comments that are too middle of the road to be taken seriously by people shouting in battle and too subtle in their humor for some members of the audience.
