michelle you seem new here ... glenn rudolph who works in retail and numerous others have already beaten this horse to death ...amzn's "inventory advantage" aka "positive carry financing" is a myth ... in any case i suspect that amnzn's massive acquisition plans are related more to hubris of becoming the "walmart of the web" than to books-music-video- software ... this should be an interesting year
