Dwane, seems like market makers play dirty pool sometimes. I don't know how many times I have seen a stock blow through support (normal place for sell stop, say 1/4 below) grab sell stops and then finish above support. I have seen the same thing with buy stops when I was working with Henry. He had a buy stop above resistance and the MM went through it, grabbed the buy (1/8 what was listed for day's high), and immediately pulled back for an instant loss.

That is another reason I tend to use more "mental stops" and base decisions on the closing price.
