What do you figure is going to happen to Amylin's share price now that they are getting kicked from Nasdaq to the Nasdaq Small Cap exchange?
biz.yahoo.com

This sucker really seems like a one horse show and the horse is coming up lame. Big built up staff and lots of long term debt to J&J, their ex-partner. A negative $0.65 bookvalue! There has been like $250M in loss built up in this sucker - lots of R&D $$$ invested. But Pramlintide is not looking overwhelming in the clinicals and they've got a long way to get to the market yet. Ugly! They've got another molecule just entering clinicals, but that's just going to get dragged down by the first unless they have great clinical data in 3Q 99. This is a company in serious need of a sugar daddy to fund the joint. I don't think V1 would want to play this one, but I figure this sucker to really drop next week when small cap trading starts and some fleeing begins. Could even maybe see an over reaction with a deadcat bounce??? Not sure if you could short it in time to catch the downdraft??? The more I look though the more I want to just stay away!!!
