American IC Exchange: 16M @$4.25 Spot-market prices for the 4M x 4 FPM 2K-refresh 5-V DRAM in SOJ packaging began a steep incline toward the end of September, according to the American IC Exchange's RAMDEX Index, which tracks spot-market pricing for commodities. From a low of about $1.50 in August, prices reached a high of approximately $4.50 early in January and then dipped slightly, for a monthly average of $4.25.
