Mr. Fortune

Where do you see this going in light of the Globe story
The thing in the Ed Journal is nothing in the greater
scheme of things.
It basically says, "Gretzky and the NHLPA suing over pre-paid
phone card-scheme."

"Wayne Gretzky and the National Hockey League Players
Association are suing a Calgary-based company over a hockey player phone-card scheme that allegedly went bust.
According to the statement of claim filed in both Calgary
and Ontario, Value-Net Corporation and its subsidiary,
Value-Net Communications, owes more than $1 million US for the deal.
The claim states hockey fans would buy the pre-paid phone cards,
which featured the NHLPA player's photograph and signature.
According to the claim, the cards cast the individual hockey
stars as members of their respective teams or as members of the "98
Canadian Olympic team in Nagano, Japan.
Value-Net was to pay Gretzky and 19 other players like Theo Fleury $10 for every phone-card they signed, plus additional amounts.
Toronto Lawyer Larry Franschman, representing Value-Net
Telecommunications, said his company will launch a counter claim."

Even if successful this doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the overall scheme of things INMHO

The big news report by the Globe is the controlling value here
