Kaiser,

Something I don't understand about the tb test....why is rapid detection necessary? My job requires an annual tb test. It's an injection under the skin on the forearm. 2-3 days later the spot is examined to see if there was any reaction. Would a faster test sell if it were more expensive? Or does the skin test have sensitivity/specificity problems?
