last time i downloaded 4.0, my system got all unstable on me. i uninstalled it and stuck with 3.0.

same thing happened when i tried to upgrade to norton antivirus 5.0 from 4.0... everything got all buggy and unstable.

then i hit on the prob! (i think.) i had too much stuff running in the background (including symantec software). so i shut down everything except explorer and re-installed av5.0. beautiful! :)

so i'll do the same with a browser upgrade... turn off everything except explorer. i think that will give me clean installs from now on.
