Get a grip, FT. On the purely practical side, we all have encountered moments of irrational "intuition" that enabled us to "cut to the chase"--i.e., the really good stock that made all the difference, the fabulous woman that might have gotten away and became the wife, and so forth.

Do you really mean to classify Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross, and Meister Eckhard as evil.
