Just listened to the conference call. It's one of the most optimistic and buillish CC that I have ever heard. Demand for their products is accelerating , and the word "revolutionary" was used to describe their web based new Siebel 99 suite.
Patricia House's interview on CNBC went well , and may have been mainly responsible for the price pop, because even though earnings were out the price wasn't up much prior to the interview.
Given another 6 to 12 months of success and consolidation of it's lead and Seible will probably have accomplished that all important jump that gives a software company many years of profit-establishing itself as The Standard.They are concentrating on capturing market share at the expense of some short term profits. IMHO, this is a wise strategy. So far the company isn't generating a huge investor interest as evidenced by this relatively dull thread.
