DiamondWorks asks TSE to halt trading in its stock

In a bizarre move, DiamondWorks Ltd. of Vancouver asked the Toronto Stock Exchange to halt the trading of its stock indefinitely without explanation late Friday. "We're not in a position to comment at this time," said Bill Trenaman, company spokesman. DiamondWorks expects to make a statement before the end of the cease trade order in 15 days.
