I'll agree with that statement. I do seem to recall some very lofty predictions for WFR.

My long term view of WFR (end of century having reached 100) has not changed.

I wonder if there is a difference between selling value-added, complex tools like excimer lasers and silicon wafers? I'll give this some more thought. ;-)
