Spots DOS has a real bad attitude, doesn't it <g> I didn't even get a chance to load those cd driver lines. I went to boot from the floppy that had the config.sys that I copied to it, as well as all the other files you specified. While dos was loading I got a quick list of errors in the config.sys file. I was able to see listed lines 13-18 and line31 as indicated errors in config,sys. There may have been more but the screen goes by too fast. Then the next screen holds with: Path not found - :\command.com File not found - extract.exe File not found - readme.txt Insert w98 Startup Disk 2 I was able to boot into ms dos with the floppy before I added config.sys and the others. At that point it had command.com, drvspace.bin, io.sys, msdos.sys on it. The f8 key method of swiching to dos also does not appear to be working but the restart in MSDOS method does. Do ihave to reconfigure config.sys or reloadit from the w98cd? Good thing Sean is away..he'd be literally dieing with laughter..... Clarence
