<I chose daytrading because of my interest in the market >

It's important to like what you do and if teaching wasn't for you anymore then pursue trading with a passion.

<I am not a scalper.I make daily trades based on technical indicators, and I am currently learning how to trade for the longer term hold >

There are many ways to trade and make a living. I started with swing trading, went to 100% day trading and am now doing a hybrid of the two methods. I use mostly TA for position trades and it does work so keep pursuing technical approaches.

< I plan to keep trying and learning. I am studying trading just as I would any other profession I hope to excel in. I don't expect to be at the top of my profession yet>

You have a good attitude. When you started on day one teaching you knew a lot less than you did say, 2 years later. Any profession is an ongoing learning process. Don't get discouraged.

I've done this for 3 years and struggled at times but always come away from bad trades having learned something about both myself and my trading methods.
