The Sciences change but reflect the current state of an unbroken line of investigators of whom you seem truly ignorant.
You think that individuals can know this great accumulation, they can't, all they can do is contribute.
Your insistence that there is no collective will is as insubstantial as your discounting of the force that religion has wielded, at times very well, through the centuries.
You are simply a product, nothing else, protected by a collective.
