Stagger Lee, when will you give it up man? Had you just gone long on THQ back about a year ago, you would be up 100% or more. And as for THQ not even beating 1Q 98, that is absolutely ridiculous..not only is the wholesale price for Nintendo 64 games $10-$15 more than for Playstation games, but notice that in the 1998 TRSTS yearly report, THQ's WCW/NWO Revenge came in 7th whereas THQ's 1Q 98 release WCW Nitro for Playstation didn't even make the top 20 list. That should show you right there that THQ trounces last year's 4Q earnings and last year's 1Q earnings. You just will never get it will you? It is so easy man...you simply go to NPD's website each month and you see which video games were the top sellers. You then look at THQ's latest balance sheet and see that they have over $21 million in cash, and no debt..you then go to THQ's website and see that for 1999 they are planning on releasing WCW Thunder for Playstation (already released and #1 selling game for 1st two weeks of January per TRSTS, Gamelord (Software Etc) and EB, Rugrats for N64, Excession/Sinistar for PC, Shao Lin for Playstation, Roadrash for Nintendo 64, Nuclear Strike for Nintendo 64, Nomen Quest for Nintendo 64, Danger Girl for Playstation, Penny Racers for Nintendo 64, WCW Nitro for Nintendo 64, International Rally Champ for PC, Rugrats for color gameboy, and Bass for Nintendo 64 and Playstation and compare that to 1998 where THQ only released two Nintendo 64 games (WCW vs NWO and Quest 64) and you will see THQ will trounce all estimates and each and every quarter in 1998. Why can't you see this man? It isn't that difficult!
