Okay, deferred revenue is cash you got for something you haven't yet delivered. It's like the unfilled portion of a magazine subscription, where the subscriber has paid in advance.

We just covered deferred revenues/expenses in my CPA review class today. I could have saved the $1,000 course fee and just talked to you instead!
