That's rich, Neocon, that really is.
<< that Starr saw the pursuit of this as a way to crack the Clinton cover- up machine, >>
How very resourceful of the vilified Ken Starr. Good thing that Starr was still in the business of investigating the Whitewater land deal at the time; one of the advantages of conducting an unlimited inquisition. You remember the investigation of the Whitewater land deal, right? (And how quickly we forget that there even were Congressional hearings on Whitewater). That's been a tough one for the vilified prosecutor. Yeah, seems that even with a small army of professional investigators, accountants, attorneys, prosecutors, FBI agents, press sources, a special grand jury, powers to subpoena, powers to grant immunity, and the rest, the vilified special prosecutor hasn't quite managed to wrap up his investigation of this notorious $200K land deal crime of the century. But at least the scope of the vilified prosecutor's investigation is, like everything done by the vilified prosecutor in this case, in proportion with the enormity of the crime. Yeah, $200K - almost the full price of the average priced townhouse in the Washington, D.C. area, and the Clinton's almost got away with, with, with... well, they almost got away with something, that's for sure!

This one is even richer Neocon, it really is.
Btw, I'm serious about taking lunch with you and Arianna. |
