Earlie,

Hooray, for you, Skeets, and especially those two guys on the MU thread. A little ray of sanity peering through the thunderheads of this surreal capital market environment.

Hey, no joke about the President. And the deep fracture the debate over his impeachment shows in our culture and polity. WJC reminds me of Sonny Corleone, and HRC, Michael Corleone. <ng>

Gotta question for you folks. Any of you Schwab account holders have a problem with your 1099(s)? I got my 1099s for my IRA accounts ... and they were completely wrong. When I called Schwab today I was on hold for a looong time, and the fellow that answered told me lots of folks had been issued faulty 1099s. I believe it was related to some juggling around I did in creating a Roth IRA. In any event, since I'm sure the IRS has already electronically received the erroneous 1099s, I'm kinda thinking it might be a good idea to have them straightened out ...

Passing this on for two reasons ... partly 'cause SCH is a topic of discussion on the thread, and also because anything system-glitch related perks my ears up, since I'm listening for those Y2K hoofbeats which I assume we'll start hearing in the distance at some point ...

Peter
