Peter -(Any of you Schwab account holders have a problem with your 1099(s)? I got my 1099s for my IRA accounts ... and they were completely wrong. )

My Schwab 1099-B (taxable) was clean. My Fidelity 1099-R's for Roth IRA conversions and re-characterizations seem to be OK in the end, but you need a lot of hints and imagination to understand them. -g-
You almost certainly will get a 1099-R that overstates your taxable amount by a wide margin on its face, but you are routinely expected to correct for this on your tax return.

Regards, Don
