Well for a guy who professes to be easy you don't ask easy questions. The Lundins didn't talk to me before they did their PP so i will only give you my opinion.

From the NR.

>>Adolf H. Lundin agreed to facilitate the financing through the sale of 2,000,000 shares from his holdings at a price of $5.25 per share to a number of institutional investors. <<

They didn't say exactly WHO but they did say it was institutional investors. These are people who have been brought into the table and shown the evidence to give them security and comfort. They must be very sure ARP has much more than the 4.5 m oz proven to date.

>>With the proceeds of such sale, Lundin will be purchasing the private placement. At the conclusion of the financing, Lundin will continue to hold the same number of shares which he held prior to the financing and will receive no economic benefit as a result of the transaction. The Company will be paying a standard commission on the transaction.<<

If Lundin is going to sell 2,000,000 shares and lie to the rest of the shareholders about the PP then we are all shafted! From what I know of the Lundins they are not crooks. They are shrude, competent and hard working business people. Others on this thread have stated that this is not the first time the Lundins have been in this type of a situation. I think they have a track record which will stand up to scrutney. Perhaps someone who knows them better than I would better speak to this issue. I really don't think they will do exactly what they are telling all the other shareholders not to do for a lousy .25/share. Not very likely!!!

My understanding is that ABX wants it all but must get 51.1% if they are going to buy any. In other words if they get at least 51.1% everyone who wants to sell to Barrick at $5.00 will have a 10 day period to tender their shares after the anouncement that Barrick has received the 51.1%. You won't get stuck with share that won't be bought by Barrick.

Hope this helps.
