JS, Crocodile God sacrifice may be somewhat situational. The Dayaks of western Irian Jaya live in an area predominantly consisting of salt water mangrove swamps (apparently a real tourist draw). The swamps are infested with 25-foot salt water crocodiles who over the millenia appear to have developed a certain predilection for Dayak, particularly the young and presumably more tender variety.

I would assume that if you do not have a problem with ravenous 25-foot salt water crocs in central Milan, you can probably dispense with this ritual. However, as a precaution, you may wish to avoid taking walks in drainage tunnels, check your toilet before using etc.
