Found this from other thread, From Schwab...effective 1/29 The following NASDAQ stocks are now subject to the new 70% maintenance requirement: For securities with a 70% maintenance requirement, the buying power is equal to the non-marginable securities balance divided by .70. AEIS AMTD AMZN BAMM BRCM BYND CMGI CMNT DBCC DCLK EBAY EGGS EGRP EXDS KTEL LCOS MKTW NSOL ONSL SEEK UBID XMCM YHOO This might explain why most of the stocks on this list are under selling pressure now due to margin calls.
