Hi Penni; Sorry I'm late with this reply, but Wow yours was so
nice and thoughtful I felt that anything I might say would expose
all my warts. Well to heck with that here I am warts and all. <G>

I guess by now Dan has finished reading "The Perfect Storm."
Having myself been a commercial fisherman for years, there was
so much in it I could relate to. It was like looking at a
mirror of my past. The odd thing is over the years I didn't
realize all the changes that take place, as I passed from one
character to the next. There was not a man on the boat that I
wasn't able to relate to at one time in one way or another.
How the author was able to capture the essence of the
life style was what impressed me the most.
And it was an honest story.

When it comes to writing I try, but it's not much better than
my singing, I love to listen to the choir at church, so
much so that I never learned how to carry a tune.
--------
I hope you also read The Perfect Storm.
Jim
