Peter, I'm somewhat new to options trading; would you mind answering a few questions? I'm looking at the option volume that VLSI had on friday ... 1. I thought someone had to sell you a contract for you to purchase one. Is there ever a problem with say you wanted to buy some contracts of xyz jan 00 calls and noone is selling? 2. With thinly traded contracts like VLSI is one usually stuck with the ask price when buying? 3. When you sell the contract is there ever a problem with there not being buyers? or will the MM's just buy it at the bid then? Sean
