I don't know why everyone gets so bent out of shape with the Cisco vs Lucent rivalry. For God's sake, it's a $400 billion market. In the short term everyone can do well. All Cisco has to do is take 10% of it in the next 5 years and they become a $40 billion revenue company. That's about 30-35% growth per year. Completely doable.
