Also interesting was JJ's mention of the project with a major software company to help the small businesses get Y2k compliant, "the guy running 5-6 dry cleaning stores". This sounds like MEP-style to me. The guy running 5-6 dry cleaning stores probably has an SBA loan. So how does TAVA reach these guys? How about MEP-style through an agency at the Dept. of Commerce? How about the SBA? If TAVA is developing the software with a major company, then you can bet they've already solved the delivery question. And the MEP-style delivery is about as high as profit margins can get. So how many SBA loans are there, how many would go bust if Y2k crashes the businesses underlying the loans, and what threat would a massive SBA default be to the banking system, Mr. Greenspan?
