Scotty, That is, “if” the US should outlaw internet gambling, will this action serve as a precedent for other governments to do the same and thus severely reduce the growth of internet gambling world wide? You are right - no one knows for sure but I think IGT's announcement the other day that they are teaming up with one of the world's leading internet gaming software companies tells me that they think it is here to stay: #reply-7516573 If the world's largest gaming machine manufacturer can see the future of the industry, I think that speaks volumes as to it's legitimacy and durability - i.e. if the jury is still out, it's only because someone has pumped carbon monoxide into the room and they are all dead.
