Huh?... You can "pick your portal"... @Home gives you their "front page" but you do not have to use it..I never see the @home page...on my system My portal page is "Excite" cuz I keep my portfolio there...and I like the news customization. Maybe I am misunderstanding your comment...but cable does not force you to use "their portal"...in my experience... just as MSFT does not force you to use IE as a browser...they provide it as part of their OS software...but you can pop NSCP up in a second...and only use that....or use Eudora Mail...whatever these portals/browsers/email packages are just provided as a convenience...but you can use pretty much..."whatever" suits you... the argument NSCP and those DOJ guys have...is that the "average joe" will "default" to using the package that is provided....but you can use something else..if you like...you just have to have the skills to hit an "install" button.... smiling...but a little puzzled.....Mary
