Hey MARK did ya notice this---This was taken from Edgar on line, the 10Q-Q/A filed Jan. 20, 1999.
edgar-online.com. >>>>>>Demand for the Company's newly introduced Tempest Data Voice Gateway hardware products ("DVG")has yet to be firmly established. Although sales of the DVGs have been increasing, potential customers are still in the process of evaluating the products.<<<<<
Can we "ignore" Why Franklin did not talk about the recent new orders in this paragraph ? How long will this evaluation go on ( evaluation has been going on for a long time, hasn't it ) ? Here's yet another important item to "ignore" from that filing. Pay particular attention to the part about revenue recording. Was the Usat revenue recorded this way. Item 2 President's message Jan. 29,1999. we have shipped " many" systems to them etc. Item 4 same message " they pay their bills " often" in advance. How often do they pay, How many have you shipped, How much have you been paid ? If Franklin has not been paid, which quarter will that problem show up in?
>>>>>>Sustainable demand for newly introduced hardware products has yet to be established, in that many customers are continuing to test and evaluate the DVG products. Revenue is recorded when the customer completes testing and evaluation and agrees to purchase the product.<<<<<
Let's "ignore" that "revenue recorded" issue too"
Now here's another factor to "ignore" from Edgar's again, Ftel's new stock option plan and registration of another 4,954,000 shares. Filed on Jan. 26,1999.

Which employees will get these shares and when will they sell them? The good part is, that the new shares must be registered prior to sale. So everyone will know in advance and can "ignore". "If Edgar is followed each day".
So all can hit “ignore” as many times as they care to, but somehow, I would bet, these posts are followed vey closely by the hypsters |
