Technical Alert - Week in Review Jan 29, 1999

----------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------

The week in review is a new feature that we are considering adding. It
will mostly depend on reader response as to if it is added and how it
will evolve.

Of note this week:

We sent out a HEADS UP on IIA on Jan 26, 1999 before the stock opened
for trading. We had been tracking IIA in Section 4 prior to the HEADS
UP. IIA opened at 3.25 that morning and hit a high of 5.00 by the next
day. The HEADS UP is also a new feature we are considering adding. A
couple more successes like this one and the decision will be easy.

We added TPIL to Section 2 on the 21st of January at 0.07; it hit a high
this week of 0.11 (up 57%). We have had good interaction on TPIL. Thanks
to David Prue of TPIL for the Information.

We added the Markets at a Glance feature, which tracks and reports on
the Major CDN indexes, the Dow Jones and London Gold.

Value-Net had a very strong week hitting a high of 2.80 before closing
at 2.65. To date VNE has recorded a 600% SUBHIGH.

Comments and Questions

If this is mainly a Technical letter, why do you encourage discussion on
fundamental aspects of signaled equities?

The signals have proven to be very effective, but we can increase our
success rate by improving our interaction on signals. Some recent ASE
stocks listed below illustrate the point of why opening discussion will
increase our effectiveness. We can capture a greater % of the movers if
we do minimal research such as reading past news releases. Past news
releases indicate the path in which the company is traveling and as such
are a very good indicator of where a company is heading. To put it
simply, a signal is basically saying, hey have a look at me.

We can process a lot more information if more eyes are reviewing the
signals and sharing their findings.

We are committed to constantly developing the letter and improving its
readability and overall success.
