Mike, good morning to you and HO HO HO -G- While we are on the subject of MU I think it would be interesting to post the press releases concerning the great optimism surrounding the announcement of Micron's Microstamp product several years ago and the current status of this " golly gee" product -g- Have you heard how the sales of microstamp are -VBG- and HO HO HO . LETS LOOK AT THE FORECASTING RECORD of popular analysts such as Dan Niles, Tom Kurlak, Rick Whittington et. al. . I seem to recall trade press magazines featuring stories about shortages of DRAM which might last until the year 2000. I wish that I had kept files on this stuff. If you are wrong for being bearish the press never lets you forget it but if you make a silly bullish forecast -nary a word as MB would say. Reminds me of $ 100/ bbl oil forecasts long ago before the price hit about $ 10. What a relief I thought I would have to get a moped.
