Making a Million in Internets Part III - Fire up that brain Joanie here we go. If you did your homework you wrote down your vision of what the internet will be like in two years. We will not know for sure who is right but the point was to get you thinking about the future of the internet. For the internet is the future.
My vision: perhaps five major players, some also rans and a whole bunch of companies that didn't merge so they got creamed. The mergers have begun in the internets and many more are to come.
In two years the internet will be a part of the life of every person in the civilized world, this has already begun although many don't know. The way we educate, inform, interact and do business is changing at the speed of an e-mail.
In Part II, I asked you to think about what all top internets have in common. Earnings, good management and the top rated chats, information sites, etc.... they ALWAYS have top rated sites/boards of investors (this fact makes our beloved GNET a great target).
Of course with all stocks it all comes down to what you buy, when you buy it and when you sell it. "He who has the most shares at the cheapest price wins". That is where the real beauty of the internets comes in. Since we have these nice swings if one does not become too greedy, one can become very rich, make a million or more.
The media and thus investors freak out often on internet stocks. All you have to do is buy low (a company with earnings) wait for a 909er or two (no matter what) and then sell, sit back and wait and buy low.
Being lazy I'll save how to value an internet stock for Part IV. Homework: Write down how you value a stock like DELL.
Well it is time to go for it is game day. GO BRONCOS, BLUE 909
