You have to be careful to avoid "the paralysis of analysis" in your investing. There are two or three sides to every issue and lots of "what ifs" to deal with.

I decided to buy and hold my stakes in CMGI, RNWK and VRIO because I have no idea if, when or how much they will go up. I think they are good companies and I want to be on board if they move. That means I will be on board for pullbacks too, but so be it.

Regarding DELL, if defending their margins was an issue, DELL probably would not have succeeded as well as it has in the past several years. Again, buy management, not the product.
