Buffalo,I owned AQP at $2.30 ,the drill results wre much like ARP with long intersections,If my memory serves, they only drilled only 7 holes and ABX made a suprize offer at $27.Ithink the stock was trading in the $17 to $20 range before the offer. The probable rs ithink was in the 5 to 7m oz.At the time the market was suprized at Barricks offer because the total resource was unproven. It was thought at the time that ABX was in the view that the resource was 12M + oz.Catharine McLoud told shareholders to reject the offer that she thought it was too low.Barrick in a week or two increased it to $30, at that time AQP management said it was fair and recomended shareholders take it.The Ludins have publicy stated that ARP may have 20m oz + all that silver.Barrick is trying an outright theft of ARP.While we only own 60% it would compare to the ozs at par with AQP if proven up to 20m.As you can see we are getting the shaft at $15 never mind $5.
