There's a good article in the latest edition of Business Week which discusses the competition between LU, NT, and CSCO to build the networks of the future. CSCO needs to add voice to compete with the LU/ASND combo. They need to establish more reliability of voice delivery in order to earn the business of the telcos away from LU. ASPT's price is too low at this point for an outright buyout so look for an alliance of some kind. CSCO could then take its new products, which would include ASPT software, to the telcos. High level of reliability in voice is what the telcos are waiting for. ASPT will inch its way forward in price until an alliance is announced. Then maybe one or two analysts will get it. Just my opinion.
