barrick.com - first offer at 27, '23% over yesterday's close' barrick.com - mention of aqp's 'number of interesting properties' barrick.com - abx mails [$27] offer for aqp barrick.com - deal at 30, lockup with CMS & crew barrick.com - acquires 93% [11 days later!] Arequipa never had a website likely. What I remember is that it all happened so fast, it was before I had a computer [bought this computer with some of the proceeds -g-] and being summertime I wasn't paying attention anyway .... aqp took a big dip to 17 or so in late July or more likely early August, just before the deal at 30 ..... I took the cash instead of paper, and converted it to Canadian bank shares, which paid off .... but not this time - gold, oil, uranium this time around ...... cheers, all ... hang in there
