I cannot say what the medical definition of frigid is but I can offer up what I consider a working defintion: A person who is uncomfortable in sexual matters, whether speaking about it or acting them out. Someone for reasons of religious unbringing, sexual abuse, pre-conceived ideas of sex, parental rigidity or revulsion of their own bodies and that of others, cannot function in a healthy, playful manner enjoying fully the exploration of touch, warmth and excitement. I cannot agree that I stated the word with obvious scorn and delight. I can say in all honesty, there is nothing worse than a frigid person. They poison the whole enjoyment of such a delightful aspect of living.
