The dating method is fatally flawed. Hey, Bob, c'mon.... FT's response is humorous. Mine is that this is too easy an out. You have a good mind. Let's see you grapple with the issue rather than merely dismiss it out of hand. BTW, even in Roman Catholic parochial schools in the 1950s, children were taught evolution. Even the nuns saw no problem in understanding Genesis as a creation myth, a way of giving a people a sense of origin and place in the universe. The universe can still be God's creation without its creation's having to fit a literal reading of Genesis.
