Up-and-Coming Stars at WABC-AM

1) Sean Hannity Mon-Fri 3-6pm

With the double exposure of a radio and TV talk host;
Sean Hannity carries the credibility and appeal of a
media superstar. Winning listeners and viewers with
intelligence, char, and humor, Sean Hannity has the
formula for keeping a captive audience.

Youthful energy and seasoned professionalism give
Hannity the edge over the competition. An afternoon
drive show on WABC radio followed by a weeknight TV
program on the Fox News Channel keeps Hannity on top
of the issues and in the spotlight. As the consummate
communicator, his ability to connect with his audience
keeps listeners tuned-in and callers line-up.

Whether interviewing influential newsmakers or
dissecting the issues of the day, Hannity's top-notch
skills as a journalist and talk show host are clearly
evident. Pursued by some of the best in the business, he
has made guest appearances at the request of CNN,
Sally, Geraldo, Donahue, and CNBC.

Voted "Talk Show Host of the Year" and named one of
the "Top 100 Talk Hosts in America." Sean Hannity has
won the trust, loyalty, and admiration of the tri-state
market.

2) Steve Malzberg Saturday 10pm -3:30am, Sunday Midnight-5am

How did a sports anchor win the devotion of the
country's most selective talk radio audience? Could it
have been his colorful play-by-play of the day's hottest
news stories? Maybe it was his nuts and bolts solutions
to society's problems that did the trick. Then again, it
could have been his down-to-earth average-Joe persona
that won them over. Whatever it was, tri-state talk radio
listeners made it known that they wanted more of Steve
Malzberg, and WABC delivered.

This Brooklynite with a yen for the Yankees and a
passion for politics came to WABC in 1981. He's hosted
pre-game, half time, and post-game shows for the New
York Jets, the New York Yankees, and the New Jersey
Devils. He also handled the duties of the Director of
Operations for Shadow Sports. However, this
self-described conservative Republican always
discovered a political angle within any given sports story
which eventually led to a string of fill-in stints for several
WABC talk shows.

Now, as host of his own talk radio slot and co-host of 77
WABC Monday Night Football Pre-Game Show, Malzberg
will be the first to tell you that he is not out to shock, but
to challenge listeners. "While I am very passionate
about the things I believe in, I enjoy talking with guests
and callers with an opposing view - I consider it a
challenge to attempt to change their minds."

3) Matt Drudge Sunday 9:30pm-12am

Matt Drudge, the Internet's hottest scoopster and the one-man
news bureau that broke the Monica Lewinsky scandal, complements
77 WABC's provocative line up with a political news and gossip
show. "Wherever the stink is, we'll try to zero in on it," says Drudge
about his weekly program.

Drudge exudes the take-no-prisoners attitude that has also earned
him a talk show on The Fox News Channel and highly publicized
guest spots on "Meet The Press" and "Nightline", as well as
widespread scorn from his journalism colleagues. Drudge is the
author of "The Drudge Report", the widely read Internet website
focusing on political news and the business of Hollywood, where he
exposed the Lewinsky scandal to the world and scooped Newsweek
Magazine.

Drudge was raised in Takoma Park, Maryland, where he was a
"loner" and a news junkie, a kid who grew up with talk radio as
company. His first jobs included the night shift at a 7-11, and
selling Time Life books over the phone. He moved to Los Angeles 10
years ago, and then started "The Drudge Report" in 1995. He was
managing the CBS studio gift shop and thought it would be an
amusing hobby to use the Net to relay the gossip he overheard.
Drudge's declared aim is to give "the American people" the
information he believes to be correct or important, and to
revolutionize the media industry with a breath of fresh, young air.
